Honest comparison — no trash talk

An honest DocuClipper alternative: GamanCloud Statements

DocuClipper is a capable professional product with OCR and accounting integrations. If your need is simpler — turn a statement PDF into clean CSV, Excel or QBO — GamanCloud Statements does it free, and your financial data never leaves your device, which matters more for bank statements than for almost any other document.

Try Statements — judge it in two minutes

No signup and nothing uploads, so trying it costs you nothing but the click.

How Statements works

  1. Download your statement PDF. Log in to your bank’s website or app and download the statement as a PDF.
  2. Drop it into Statements. Open GamanCloud Statements and drop the PDF onto the page (or click to browse). You can add several statements at once and convert them as a batch.
  3. Review the detected transactions. The parser auto-detects dates, descriptions, amounts and debit/credit columns. If anything looks off, adjust the page range, start row, decimal style or column roles before exporting.
  4. Export. Choose CSV (with your preferred delimiter), Excel (.xlsx) or QuickBooks, and download. The whole batch can be downloaded together.

Your file never leaves your device

Bank statements are among the most sensitive documents you have, so this tool was built to never see them: the PDF is parsed by code running in your browser, and the transactions it extracts exist only on your device.

Proof: open DevTools → Network before you start — no upload request ever fires.

Frequently asked questions

When is DocuClipper the better choice?

When you’re processing scanned paper statements (their OCR is built for it) or you’re an accounting professional who wants direct integrations and volume tooling. Those are real strengths and worth paying for if they’re your workflow.

When is GamanCloud Statements enough?

When your statements are text-based PDFs from online banking and you want clean CSV, Excel or QuickBooks files. That’s most personal and small-business cases — and it’s free, with the statement never leaving your device.

Is it really free? What’s the catch?

There isn’t one. Because the work happens on your device instead of our servers, each use costs us almost nothing — so everything that runs locally is free forever: no watermarks, no size limits, no usage counters, no trial that expires.
